Biography
Natalie grew up in Spartanburg, South Carolina and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance Performance and Choreography and Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina in 2022. She has danced professionally with Yuhas & Dancers, Moving Body Dance Company, STEME DANCE NYC, mmmChoreo (Matty Mahoski) and Laura Ardner Choreography. Natalie's teaching credits include the Arts Academy of the Carolinas Summer Intensive, Expanding Community New Jersey and Chutzpah Dance's Training Company.
After moving to New York in 2022, Natalie created ERELONG to house her choreographic works. ERELONG has participated in 20+ performances in NYC and beyond, including Edinburgh Fringe, unKEMpT by rogue wave, Dance Bloc NYC at Dixon Place and 7MPR’s Midnight Performances. Natalie is honored to have been selected as a choreographer for Anthology33 and Fluid Creature Collective's EXPANSION VI in 2025. Visit ERELONG's website to learn more.
Currently based in Brooklyn, Natalie is dancing with Chutzpah Dance and is continuing to make work through ERELONG. She is also a collaborator with crystalandthomas, a multidisciplinary arts collective, and is a co-founder of the improvisation group 5$Movement. In her dancing and choreography, Natalie compliments circular patterns with gestural precision. By connecting external aesthetics to internal sensations, Natalie creates work that is refreshing for performers and spectators alike.
